HOME Life happened, and a young emerging artist is now a mature re-emerging artist. After a long break taken to address the practicalities of living, I now return to my work as a middle aged artist in the Midwest. I am attempting to mend the huge hole in my heart where the need to create was cut out for many years. My hope is that viewing my work fills some space in your heart as well. My loves are drawing and painting. Great satisfaction comes when the viewer sees beyond the representation, views the subject matter from a new perspective and becomes aware of my spirit and emotions. I want to share, through the energy of my work, the intense pleasure and excitement I feel when working well. I have also ventured into a more usable format to share my abstract work with those more practical minded individuals who love to surround themselves with art, as I do, but have difficulty justifying the cost in these challenging times.
